Melody Gilbert is an award-winning independent filmmaker, educator and journalist from St. Paul, Minnesota. “WHOLE” is her second independent documentary and it premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival (in competition) in June 2003 and was broadcast on the Sundance Channel and numerous tv stations around the world. It was featured in the New York Times and Newsweek.

Ms. Gilbert is also the director and producer of Fritz: The Walter Mondale Story (2008), Urban Explorers: Into The Darkness (2006), A Life Without Pain (2005), and Married At The Mall (2002).
